Earthquake Damage Report: 7 Magnitude Tremor Affects Various Districts in Nepal
On Tuesday morning at 6:50 AM, a 7-magnitude earthquake centered in Dingri County, Tibet, caused damage in several areas of Nepal. According to the initial reports compiled by the Ministry of Home Affairs, five districts were affected.
In Sindhupalchok, the police post building in Bhote Koshi Rural Municipality 4 was damaged. In Ramechhap, a shed was destroyed, while in Okhaldhunga and Solukhumbu, some uninhabited houses were affected.
In Kathmandu, a person was injured after falling from the roof of a house in Syuchatar and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. In Bara's Kalaiya Sub-Municipality Ward 1, 11 students from Trichandra Secondary School in Classes 7 and 8 fainted. After treatment, their health condition has stabilized, and they have been discharged.
