Kathmandu. After facing strong criticism on social media for reducing the recharge validity, mobile service provider Ncell has quietly made changes. The company has increased the validity of recharge cards on its website and mobile app, aligning it closer to Nepal Telecom's validity periods. Now, customers recharging with amounts between 50 and 99.99 rupees will receive a validity of 30 days. For recharges between 100 and 199.99 rupees, the validity is set to 60 days. Similarly, recharges between 200 and 299.99 rupees will have 140 days of validity, between 300 and 499.99 rupees will have 200 days, between 500 and 999.99 rupees will offer 360 days, and for recharges of 1000 rupees or more, the validity is extended to 730 days. In recent months, the company had been offering a validity of only 90 days for a recharge of 1,000 rupees.
